În continuarea Sărbătorii
Limba Noastră Română,
și a Zilei Independenței -
unde noi, cu ONG-urile din Rețeaua OMCT,
am fost printre primii care am
dedicat Aniversării a XX
un proiect de nivel național -
Festivalul-Concurs Internațional al Talentelor Lumii ”Micul Prinț” -
văzând cum orășenii au prilejul a se bucura -
am decis să continui aceste frumoase
și importante sărbători
la baștina mea -
cel mai pitoresc loc din lume,
Verejeni, r-nul Ocnița (fost județul Soroca),
și iatăne la 4 septembrie 2011
în spectacolul Literar-Muzical:
Dor de baștină, Dor de neam…

Foarte, foarte frumos…
Delegația de peste 15 persoane,
personalități de la Chișinău,
au văzut pentru prima dată frumuseța satului
unde s-a născut și copilărit,
și prima dată s-a îndrăgostit
poetul Renata Verejanu…

Mulțumesc autorităților locale,
promarului democrat Mircea Țopa,
conducerii școlii
și surorilor Margareta și Lealea…

Voluntarii de la Academia Europeană a Societăţii Civile nu au vacanţă nici în vara aceasta, – cea de-a 20 vară de la proclamarea independenţei, nici altă dată… Am zis cândva – dacă nu noi, cine? -şi Publika TV a preluat sloganul, dar oricum şi până la noi o mai fi zis cineva, important să-i dăm sens acestei ziceri…

The 18th edition of the International Contest will take place between 28 and 30 May 2011 at Chişinău, Republic of Moldova. The Awarding Ceremony will take place on 29 May 2011, at National Palace.

We would like to remind you that the World Organization of
Talented Children is the first and only international NGO with general headquarters in Chisinau and with participatory status with Council of Europe. The 18th edition of the International Festival Contest of the World Talents „Micul Prince” will be developed under the patronage of Presidency of Republic of Moldova, in partnership with Youth Ministry, European Academy of Civil Society, Clubs of Council of Europe and Moldavian Federation of UNESCO Clubs.

Talentele lansate de Festivalul-Concurs Internaţional

au fost invitate la diverse concursuri din Bulgaria, România,
Moscova, Paris…
Dar liderii OMCT şi realizatorii Concursului “Micul Prinţ”
au avut agenda supraâncărcată…
Dna Renata şi Daniel Verejanu
au editat mai multe cărţi
de poeme, publicistică, eseuri,
cărţi pentru copii…
fără a cheltui sume fabuloase,
căci ei însuşi au fost şi editorii cărţilor…

Omul talentat e talentat în toate…

Pe lângă munca de editori ai propriilor cărţi,
am mai participat activ la
Conferinţa Tinerilor Scriitori din Moldova,
la Salonul Internaţional de Carte,
am monitorizat Referendumul,
am pregătit
Conferinţa Transfrontalieră a Tinerilor şi
Conferinţa Europeană a Junilor Jurnalişti…

În ziua când Daniel Verejanu participa pentru prima dată la o
Conferinţă a Tinerilor Scriitori din Moldova,
iară poeta Renata Verejanu,
fondatoarea Cenaclului “Grai Matern” (1988),
cu care a luptat pentru renaşterea naţională,
vorbea în faţa tinerilor scriitori despre cum
sistemul totalitar prin slugile sale
îi reţinea cărţile, -
Comisia Electorală Centrală
primea decizia prin care
Academia Europeană a Societăţii Civile,
condusă de Renata Verejanu,
şi Primul Club al Consiliului Europei,
condus de Dan Verejanu,
erau acreditaţi să monitorizeze
Referendumul 2010.

La cîteva zile de la acreditare
poeta Renata Verejanu a ţinut
o Conferinţă de presă
la care a comunicat despre un şir
de încălcări a Codului electoral,
a Constituţiei R.Moldova,
dar şi a bunului simţ.

European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe, NGOs from WOTC network ( an international NGO with general headquarters at Chisinau and participatory status with Council of Europe), are the first organizations which received accreditation from the Central Election Commission to monitor the referendum from 5 September 2010 from Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe have developed during years trainings for observers and created a national network of impartial observers.

After first week of monitoring, we would like to ask some questions to the actors from this process, and to offer a few recommendations:

1. Who are the international observers that represent OSCE and Council of Europe, and how they monitor?

2. How did the political parties prepared their observers?

3. Who are the persons proposed by the political parties to be members of voting bureaus, and how the huge number of new members are trained by Central Election Commission?

4. Some political parties intimidate openly, using administrative resources and violate the rights of the voters and Human Rights.

In this context, European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe, NGOs who are promoting Human Rights and democratic values for over a decade, insist on the fact that the monitoring process can be fair i fit begins long time before the event, regardless if is local, parliamentary or presidential elections, or even a referendum. The stroll of the obervers from OSCE and Council of Europe by the voting offices, only in voting day, looks like some documentation visits and can not be compared to a solid monitoring that could be accounted for. We have an example in this way, the monitoring from 5 April 2009, when the OSCE observers, in the morning of 6 Aprilie, when some votes were still being counted, they announced that the elections from Moldova can serve to the whole world as an example of fair elections. The events that followed on next day, on 7 Aprilie, we all know…

European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe insist on the fact that political parties should not waste huge amounts of money on incompetent observers that can not communicate, and have only one aim – to make some money. This was proved also at the elections from 5 Aprilie 2009, when a huge number of so called observers from political parties, recruited from the Internet created obstacles and the OSCE observers couldn’t observe many violations from a lot of voting sections.

European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe are concerned of the manner in which will be chosen and then trained the members of the voting offices. The members of the Central Election Commission are finishing their mandates this autumn and they are not motivated to make any efforts for preparing a huge number of new members for the new voting offices that are to be created. At most, they will promote some relatives for these positions, some obedient workers, not citizens that are interested in fair elections. Or, the elections can be fair only with competences of each member of the voting section, especially of the president of the section.

European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe want to draw attention on the fact that some political parties, including the party that was at power almost a decade, use administrative resources, intimidate the voters especially in rural areas, and in some cases, even violate Human Rights. Most of the intimidated people are simple people, that are afraid of the government system and its representatives.

             For this reason we believe that calling people to block the referendum is imoral. Some people will block it anyway because they are afraid of the local mayors, local factories managers. The head of Gagauzia Autonomous region recognized that the people from his region are driven to be afraid of the Romanians. If taking into account that the people is so tired of passing from a governing system to another and the tranzition period, the financial crisis – we are wondering how the officials can intimidate voters and after that looking straight to their faces…

The decision of the municipal council from Balti is an intimidation of the voters, consider some observers. The councellors and the mayor, regardless of their political color, were elected to solve the towns problems. Nevertheless, they are using administrative resources and their positions and are violating Human Rights and other voters’ rights. The mayor of the North capital of the country should know this fact, especially that he is one of the mayors that represent Moldova at Congress of Local and Regional Powers from Council of Europe. But, using administrative resources he confuses his electors and violates their rights.

The European Academy of Civil Society and First Club of Council of Europe summons the citizen of Moldova not to let anyone intimidate them, to overcome their fears and to participate actively in the elections, no matter if they vote for or against at the referendum. Every citizen has the right to participate at decision making process in his country, this if we want to pretend that we are living in a true democracy.

A l’ordre du jour de la Session figurent des débats sur la démocratie territoriale en Islande, au Portugal, en Suisse et en Albanie, ainsi qu’un débat sur l’observation des élections municipales qui se sont tenues en Azerbaïdjan en décembre 2009.

Les membres du Congrès discuteront également du rôle des collectivités locales dans la mise en oeuvre des droits de l’homme et de la Déclaration d’Utrecht sur la bonne gouvernance locale et régionale. Par ailleurs, plusieurs recommandations et résolutions seront examinées pour adoption sur les thèmes suivants: le changement climatique, la coopération Nord-Sud, les langues minoritaires, le transport inter-régional, l’égalité des genres et l’intégration des jeunes.

Parmi les personnalités invitées à intervenir lors de cette Session figurent notamment Thorbjorn Jagland, Secrétaire Général du Conseil de l’Europe, Micheline Calmy-Rey, Présidente du Comité des Ministres pour la Suisse, Gerhard Stahl, Secrétaire Général du Comité des Régions de l’Union européenne, ainsi que Mevlüt Çavusoglu, nouveau Président de l’Assemblée parlementaire du Conseil de l’Europe.
